In a statement the police say that two Libyan men, identified by the police as Alhadi Abouzid Nouredine and Gafar Hurun, had been arrested for migrant trafficking. Alhadi has also been charged with killing a young migrant man. According to the police the 21-year-old migrant from Sierra Leone was shot during the sea crossing. The footage, filmed by an aircraft supporting the rescue vessel, show the traffickers boarding a speed boat with more powerful motors after accompanying migrants at sea. The rescued migrants and the body of Osman have been taken to Sicilian port of Catania.
