Eritrean Tigrinya Video News: Ginda, 5 June 2013 – The residents of Ginda town are engaged in a popular undertaking involving soil and water conservation, as well as other tasks with a view to raising agricultural output through enriching water resources.
Among the coordinators of the community-based venture, Mr. Yemane Gebreab and Mr. Otban Ibrahim pointed out that more than 300 manpower is being deployed on daily basis in the undertaking due to make remarkable impact as regards fostering agricultural activities.
In the same vein, Mr. Gebregziabher Kidane, Ms. Seida Ali, Mr. Osman Saleh and Mr. Idris Musa said that active community participation has been demonstrated in the process.
Reports indicate that the community-led task targets construction of two water reservoirs along Mai-Adkemom River, besides renovation of more than 10 km-long dirt roads within and outside the urban center. More videos @ www.eritrea-chat.com.
