African news: Germany takes 100 immigrants from Malta
VALLETTA. Germany receives about 100 African immigrants who have been officially recognized as refugees in Malta. This was announced by the Maltese government on Tuesday.
Immigrants from Somalia, Eritrea and Ethiopia to be placed on Thursday after Germany. It is the third time that Berlin agree on humanitarian grounds the admission of refugees who are stranded in Malta.
750 Africans should be flown in the next twelve months, particularly in the U.S., but also in EU countries, the UN refugee agency (UNHCR) had recently reported. Malta had asked the EU partners for such help.

Deutschland nimmt Malta 100 Immigranten ab
VALLETTA. Deutschland nimmt etwa 100 afrikanische Immigranten auf, die in Malta offiziell als Flüchtlinge anerkannt worden sind. Das teilte die maltesische Regierung am Dienstag mit.
Die Immigranten aus Somalia, Eritrea und Äthiopien sollen an diesem Donnerstag nach Deutschland gebracht werden. Es ist das dritte Mal, dass Berlin aus humanitären Gründen der Aufnahme von Flüchtlingen zustimmt, die auf Malta gestrandet sind.
750 Afrikaner sollten in den kommenden zwölf Monaten vor allem in die USA, aber auch in EU-Länder geflogen werden, hatte das UN-Flüchtlingshilfswerk (UNHCR) unlängst mitgeteilt. Malta hatte die EU-Partner um eine solche Hilfe gebeten.
