Eritrean breaking news: A group of patriotic Eritreans around the web, specially from Facebook groups such as We Are All Isaias Afewerki and I am Eritrean ( Group for Eritrean Only ) are closing in, on exposing the full identity of the person shown in last weeks video captured by the Eritrean Youth for Solidarity and Change movement. The video shows a couple of men harassing a government official identified in the video as Mr. Yemane Mankey, by calling him various derogatory names.
This particular video was posted first by I am Eritrean Group and all of the sudden received attention and went on rampage on you tube and other social networking sites, as well as a handful of other news websites around the globe, and was one of the most highlighted rumors in Eritrea and within Eritrean communities and was seen in not less than 100,000 times in one week, from multiple you tube channels. Nevertheless a severe, anger by the fans of President Isaias Afewerki suddenly managed to bring down 3 you tube, videos instantly. However after the video’s release within the mainstream community in Facebook, what remained to be captured by in the minds of almost all of the viewers was the character of a certain man and his words of harassment towards Mr. Yemane.
As beginning from such, his image was seen magnified with hate, and rage among Eritreans, which resulted in the fans and fans alike asking the identity of the man himself.
After some time, had passed, fans themselves began investigating and other fans giving information about his identity, and i Mr. Solomon Kebreab present the collected information for everyone to see today.
The man has been identified, as Solomon G Asefaw
He is also responsible of vandalism into the ECCCC. A surveillance video at the Eritrean Community Cultural and Civic Center shows Solomon G. Assefaw hurling stones into the ECCCC, according to this picture provider, a report has been submitted by the Eritrean people residing in US, to the Oklahoma Police Department and to the FBI.

However, one of the most shocking truth that is yet to be revealed is the truth about the real nationality of Mr. Solomon. There is currently a very big evidence to suggest that, Mr. Solomon is infact an Ethiopian citizen who lived in Eritrea for most part of his life. I have no doubt about his citizenship or lineage, it is obvious. There is a phenomenon that has always amazed me, ethiopians will call themselves Eritrean’s very quickly but the opposite isn’t true. If he lived in Asmara he must miss those lovely clean, safe streets and wish he could return to such a beautiful vista. He cannot and will not. It is imperative that the identities and nationalities of the so called opposition are revealed, we should not take their claim of being Eritrean lightly. Being Eritrean is matter of birth,creed, and deed not just wishing you were- although I understand why they wish it was so. We cannot take their claims and numbers as easily as these governments do when accepting asylum seekers.Everyone that knows who these people are should speak up but only with the truth, not assumptions or gossip.
